Apport retracing service (apport) wrote : Possible regression detected

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #759031. However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the problem is in a dependent package.

Tim, this crash seems to be in the Avahi support patch. Can you have a look?

There are no symbols or local variables in the stack trace.

First report was bug 707592, a later report bug 759031, both are marked as fixed, as an attemt to fix them was applied to the CUPS package. In reality, these fix attemts did not solve the problem, which leads to bug 759031 and this bug being reported. Apport assumes that the older bugs (with the same stack trace) are actually fixed and therefore it does not attach a new retrace of this stack trace again. So in reality the problem still needs to get solved.

Reopening bug 707592 and bug 759031 and marking bug bug 759031 and this bug as duplicate of bug 707592 ...
