Bug Description

Binary package hint: cups

This morning I tried printing a document from Libreoffice Writer. Each time I send the file to print the system logs out and presents me with the login screen. I don't think the job made it to the print queue because it's not listed in the CUPS job list. Converting the file to pdf and printing through the Document Viewer works. I was able to print without problems with the same printer from Libreoffice last week.

I followed instructions on the wiki and went through the printer troubleshooting wizard and have attached the file here even though it printed the test page fine. However with the troubleshooter dialogue open I tried printing from Libreoffice and the session logged out as before.

Please let me know if I should be filing this under Libreoffice and not printing.

Cheers,
David

Hi G,

I reported the bug quite a while ago, I think it was 7 years ago now :)

Unfortunately, I don't have access to an Ubuntu machine now that is connected to a printer, and cannot confirm if the bug has been fixed or not :(

Best,
D
