Bug Description
Binary package hint: cups
I want to use a usb to parallel adapter for my HP-Laserjet 6L printer. In order to get a print-job output I have to do the following after booting the system:
1. Delete the (correcly recognized) printer from the panel shown up after selecting System>
2. Wait a little. Unplug the PL2302 USB-connector). Wait a little. Plugin the USB-connector again. Do a print-job (e.g. from firefox). The printer prints it out correctly.
But now, no more job is printed. In order to re-enable the printer for the next job, I have to repeat the above actions starting with 1.

If your printer does not print again after it has done one job, run the command
lpstat -p
in a terminal window and post the output here. If the printer is marked disabled, run
cupsenable HP-LaserJet-6L
and see whether the next job prints.
Attach also your /var/log/syslog file.
