Bug Description
Binary package hint: cups
Xubuntu Lucid + Nautilus + Gedit
See the attached screenshot.
Before the latest cups update (1.4.3) I had the Local Printers 4th entry (HP LaserJet 3020 USB 00CNBF091211 HPLIP (HP LaserJet 3020)) selected. Printing and scanning (xsane) was ok.
After the update the printer status stayed "not connected". I had to delete the printer and add a new one using the 3rd entry (HP LaserJet 3020 (HP LaserJet 3020)) to be able to print again.
Now I find that I can no longer scan. Xsane (and scanimage) give a "open of device hpaio:/
