Bug Description

Binary package hint: cups

I'm using CUPS 1.4.3-1 on Lubuntu 10.04. I installed a network printer via Samba - had already installed previously with Karmic Koala, and it always worked fine. The printer is installed and detected, the print jobs are sent but they take really a lot of time to print (each page takes more than 1 minute). Beyond this, the cupsd process uses around 60% of the CPU.
