Brother MFC-J825DW squares copy number when printing

Bug Description
Using the default "implicitclass" printer setup by Ubuntu, printing to my Brother MFC-J825DW "squares" the number of copies. E.g., trying to do 2 copies prints 4 and trying to do 3 copies prints 9.
I manually added the printer using the "dnssd" connection instead, and using that one resolves the issue.
