Cyrillic characters not spaced correctly when printing with Ubuntu Bold font

When printing Ubuntu bold font, I got some strange symbols. Ubuntu regular (not bold) is printing as it should.

It is the same in .odt, .docx, .pdf., .jpg

On the display it is shown as it should.

I'm not sure this will work for 23.04 but please try installing https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fonts-ubuntu-classic/0.83-6ubuntu2/+build/26430042/+files/fonts-ubuntu-classic_0.83-6ubuntu2_all.deb from 23.10. It will "downgrade" the Ubuntu font to the old one. Assuming it installs correctly it should tell us if this is a font bug or a printing bug.

To confirm it's installed properly, please reboot and also verify the Ubuntu font looks a little different now.

Hi,

fonts are installed propertly. Ubuntu font is printing with the same
issue. Ubuntu Light is printing fine, without problems.

Please try printing to a PDF or PS file so we can see if the error exists in the data being printed, or just in the final printout.
