Bug Description

Strictly speaking, this is not a CUPS problem, but resides somewhere else in 20.04's internals that are designed to automatically find and configured printers.

One of my networked printers is a Canon MX920 Pixma unit. In an effort to be a "helpful Henry" 20.04 successfully finds this printer, but insists on configuring it as "driverless" which will not work. It can and must be configured in other ways. But once this is done, Ubuntu insists on repeatedly adding the printer as a driverless unit everytime the system boots.
