This crash just appeared during startup.
Lots of CUPS updates and errors lately.
 Printer and scanner have worked mostly one way or the other using different apps.

Fixed in CUPS 2.2.4-4.

This bug was asserted fixed in 2.2.4-4, but I just had a crash with 2.2.4-7ubuntu2 in Ubuntu 17.10 that was reported to be a duplicate of this issue.
