Bug Description
Binary package hint: cups-pdf
After install installing cups-pdf (sudo apt-get install cups-pdf), I get a new printer called "PDF" in my list of printers. However, when I tried to print, it kept failing. I realized this was happening because of the missing output folder in the home directory (also named "PDF"). Once I manually created "~/PDF", everything worked smoothly.
Two things:
1) Currently, users are not told that output will be found in ~/PDF or the fact that it needs to be created. The installation of cups-pdf could create the directory and somehow let the users know where it is.
2) I think a better way would be to have an option inside such pseudo-printers that allows the user to enter the directory where the outputs should go.
Thanks
