Bug Description
Printers like the Canon iR C3220 can staple the documents after printing. When I print a document more than one and it contains 10 pages it should print the 10 pages of the document, staple it, print again the 10 pages of the document, staple it, and so on. Instead of this it prints all copies of the document correctly sorted (1-10, 1-10 etc) and staple it at the end, if all copies are printed.
This is with printing a PDF file from evince. Also if printing from Libre Office, if Libre Office' output is PDF. If the output is PostScript, the printer is stapling correctly after each 10 pages of the document. The output format from Libre Office is configured in /etc/libreoffic
I assume that pstops does not do the same as pdftopdf does. But this is only a presumption.
