cryptsetup fails on boot

Bug Description

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

I am running a system with an unencrypted root, encrypted LVM PV with swap, tmp and home inside the encrypted PV. I have entered the PV into /etc/cryptab and the filesystems into /etc/fstab. On reboot the PV is unlocked but moves into "Checking Filesystems" too quickly and the boot process fails because the device nodes are not yet created.

Workaround: I have added a 'sleep 3' to the boot script /etc/init.d/checkfs.sh

I agree that it is not really obvious that these bugs are dupes. You can check my assumption by installing the testpackage from gutsy-proposed, which has the version number 2:1.0.5-2ubuntu2.1
