I forgot to mention that the package version in Mint is: crda (3.13-1ubuntu0.16.04.1) xenial,
but the entire issue is exactly that same as here above described.

I'm still having this error after upgrading to U 18.04 along with Nautilus image thumbnails. I see this error has been updated to "Fixed" but I don't see how or where. Thank you.
