I literally just installed this via the Ubuntu Software Center and this and a few other errors popped up, along with the software center saying the installation failed (but then displaying this and the other programs as successfully installed there).

I figured it could be due to an incomplete installation, so I ran apt-get install -f to try and fix anything.

The output for setting it up was pretty strange.

So I removed it and reinstalled it.

affects me too, see attachment (I'm using kernel 3.10.0-996-generic build #201307040407 from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-next/ , but it crashes too in 3.8.0-26.38 )
