cowbuilder deletes bind-mounted directories in some cases

The description is exactly like debian bug#425454:

They marked it as fixed on pbuilder 0.167, but I am having the same issue here with Gutsy (pbuilder 0.174ubuntu2~gutsy1 and cowdancer 0.41).

Steps to reproduce:

  mkdir /tmp/bindmount
  touch /tmp/bindmount/some_file
  cowbuilder --login --bindmounts=/tmp/bindmount

then close the terminal.

All files in the bindmounted folder will be erased (I actually lost several weeks of work due to this).

I cannot reproduce this on hardy, cowdancer 0.44.

Still an issue on 8.10

Frankly, closing bugs without actually looking at them is no solution. If you guys can't take the time to at least look into it, don't just randomly close them.
