Bug Description

df -h reports differently on 12_04 compared to the same partition mount on 11_04 ; Is this pertaining to the kernel? or issue with Filesystem ext4?

Are you only switching kernels or booting a whole different version of Ubuntu, including coreutils? What's the output of `dpkg-query -W coreutils' just before you run both df's?

Also please use 'ubuntu-bug', or 'apport-bug', to open bugs. This will collect all basic data needed, including package version, pre-reqs, and Ubuntu version

You do not need to open two bugs. What we are trying to inhibit is manually opening bugs: most of the times, some type of data is not entered, or it is entered in a different format -- and this causes more pain to both the reporter and the triager/maintainer.
