I can confirm this behaviour on an up to date feisty install:
(gnome-about-me:6328): about-me-properties-WARNING **: e_book_get_self: there was no self contact UID stored in gconf |

"This isn't a gconf warning. It's a warning issued by libebook (e-d-s) when you
call e_book_get_self with no self contact created. Since there isn't any other
API afaics to find out whether it is available before calling get_self(), I
don't see any way we could avoid this warning. Moving to e-d-s since that is
where printing that warning to the console needs to be removed." |
