2006-09-08 09:03:35 shclim description I have a Soundblaster Audigy 7.1 and a Logitech keyboard. The volume shortcuts on the keyboard work (as in gnome recognises these buttons and I can see the onscreen volume display) but the volume doesn't actually change. I have a Soundblaster Audigy 7.1 (driver 'CA0106' - Alsa) in my amd64 desktop. The volume and sound works perfectly, my problem is that Gnome doesn't use the the master volume slider by default. i.e. When I use the volume buttons on my keyboard the 'Analog Centre/LFE' sliders change in the volume control panel.... This however is the wrong one as my master is the 'Analog Front'!! Can these media keys be redirected for setup?
