Bug Description

Binary package hint: consolekit

I'm not sure the order of the events, but yesterday I lost all video output, but all other interfaces worked fine. I could also tell that switching between X and console (Ctrl+Alt+F1/F7) changed my numlock light on and off, so presumably it was all working, just no display. Upon reboot (many hours later), the alert that console-kit-daemon crashed was given to me.

It should be noted that I did a fresh install of Hardy recently because of a systemwide hard lockup in Feisty - So this might be a hardware problem.
