At regular intervals, errors appear in the log files from consolekit:

Might be the same bug as 1264368.

I'm thinking Manfred Hampl fixed this problem in ConsoleKit2 on Oct 5, 2014. Xenial is using consolekit.

glib-critical.patch Edit (2.3 KiB, text/plain)

Tested the patch and gets rid of the message 'GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 86 was not found when attempting to remove it'

Unfortunately, this bug is unlikely to be fixed upstream:

"ConsoleKit is currently not actively maintained. The focus has shifted to the built-in seat/user/session management of Software/systemd called systemd-logind!"
