Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

I get hit by this bug. It seems to be the same as debian bug 563590 (related to bash 4.1 & newer Xorg if i understood the desc properly)

I am using the xorg-edgers on top of lucid and got hit by the bug several times while upgrading

Workaround:
  1) sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/console-setup.postinst
  2) re-run: sudo aptitude safe-upgrade

The workaround lets the process continue but i dont know if that is a sane way of handling this.

I have the same error. The difference is that it reports unexpected EOF in line 1330.

Marko: I still have this issue too on the machine where I reported this from. However I have installed later lucid beta:s and also the RC now and the problem seems to be gone on those.
I think it only occured during development of lucid lynx.

I have updated the computer today (2010-04-26) with update-manager and I got the error. I believe todays updates should be the newest from release candidate.
