Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

[Using Jaunty Beta Desktop CD]

Select other language than English in the first step (I selected Spanish).

At step 3 of 7, the country names and the keyboard names shows untranslated, and can't be translated because they are not in the Rosetta's "ubiquity" and "debian-installer" templates:

  https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/ubiquity/+pots/ubiquity/es/+translate
  https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/debian-installer/+pots/debian-installer/es/+translate

I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 127528; it's a blocker for incorporating console-setup into Debian so it's likely to be fixed in the relatively near future.

affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) → console-setup (Ubuntu)
