Graph for internet up/down goes crazy after establishing mobile connection

Mobile broadband connection and keyphrase for debug: `ppp0`

THE PROBLEM
Once mobile broadband connection gets ON, the graph registers around 15 000 000 data transmission entry and since I'm getting max 500kBs, the graph is useless until I restart conky - no problem if conky is opened after establishing connection.
I highly doubt that the big number is actual data transmitted. If not a bug, maybe some delay would help - like conky gets data from 0.01sec and multiplies to fit refresh rate? I dunno.
