Current version stands at 1.4.6. Users testing gutsy 7.10, and wanting to run the updated version would have to download it from the conky site.

Upstream has been notified of problems in the licenses:

COPYING doesn't include the correct licensees
Several source files are missing an header license
Some source files are licensed with a GPL license (not included in COPYING)

Until these are clarified, the package will be on hold.

I'm subscribing motu-uvf to request an UVFe.
Note that this update, beside an important number of bug-fixes, also updates the licenses in-line with current debian/ubuntu policies.
All source headers now include a correct and complete copyright/license; all licenses and licensees are quoted both in upstream docs and in debian/copyright.

--enable-wlan
--enable-rss

and with the added dependences
libxml-dev
curl

For your info, this was the subject of this bug report:
