Window buttons disabled after using 'show desktop' multiple times

Bug Description
* Impact
This bug blocks the use of te windows buttons(minimize, maximize, close) when using the show desktop shortcuts. In a (my) avarage workproces this bug shows a few times a day. Only when using the by pass the windows buttons are enabled again. The only way to by pass this bug is to use the shortcut ctrl-alt-D to maximize and minimize again.
Chances are that most users won't discover this workarround.
I took me a while to find out how to reproduce this bug, following the shortest scenario I could think of the reproduce. Please keep in mind that this bug arises in multiple scenarios.
* Pre condition
There are no running applications
* user story
Select 'system settings' from the sidebar
Minimize the window using the minimize button
Press ctrl+alt+D
Press ctrl+alt+D again
Select 'system settings' from the sidebar
Minimize the window using the minimize button
* Expected behavior
The 'system settings' window is minimized
* Current behavior
The 'system settings' window is NOT minimized (button are disabled)
* Extra information
This problem occurs with any windowed application.
