Bug Description

  affects ubuntu/compiz

Steps to reproduce:
1. Position pointer over an application that supports xinput2 scroll events,
e.g. a Gtk3 application using GtkScrolledWindow, such as the gnome-system-
   monitor, or nautilus (the sidepane)

2. Hold down super and scroll up to activate ezoom's zooming in.

Expected results (pre-GDK_SMOOTH_SCROLL):
Screen zooms in, and widget under the pointer does not respond until the Super
key is released.

Actual Result:
Screen zooms in, but the widget underneath the pointer also scrolls up.

I'd like to bump this and ask to have this added to the queue for Compiz fixes/enhancements. Since Chrome/Chromium recently added smooth scrolling (which I disabled), this has become more apparent to me.

I've been using Compiz for years and still prefer it over every other WM, so I'm grateful for your continued maintenance on it. Thanks for the consideration on this!
