Bug Description

uptodate 12.04 on dell vostro 1500 laptop with second monitor on external vga, nvidia 8600gtm with nvidia-current.
Using Unity in twinview mode.

Xserver crashes several times a day when moving the mouse from the right (external) monitor to the left (laptop) monitor. at the edge between the both monitors the launcher should pop out and i need to scroll "with some pressure" to get to the left screen.
now with the mouse (or when trying to drag&drop a window to the other screen) at the time when i hit the edge the Xserver restarts.

it happens several times a day while regularly using the system (browsing, IRC, Libreoffice, email etc). but i cant reproduce it on purpose.
