Bug Description
I have a virtual desktop assigned only for IM, and when I'm working on something else and someone sends me a message, the messaging menu turns blue.
I then click on the messaging menu and on the name of my contact, the window is selected, but I can't see it because it is in the other virtual desktop.
So I have to manually move to my IM virtual desktop or click on the Unity icon for that window to actually see the message.
The messaging menu should work the same as the Unity bar to bring focus to the IM window and move to the virtual desktop where it sits.

Same problem in my use of Thunderbird : working on a desktop (with TB on an other one), I'm notified about a new message so I clic on the related item in the messaging-menu and... nothing, it doesn't send me to the associated desktop.
