Bug Description

Not really sure if this is compiz or unity but moving windows around is rather jerky. It's not as bad as it was in natty, 3D apps are fine but the laggy movement is still there, even if very diluted.

Window movement is not jerky in my case. It depends from hardware to hardware.

But, since this is a bug, I'm marking this confirmed in Compiz. It might be tough to fix this one though

Its nothing to do with hardware, its a general compiz regression that can be sometimes observed on very high end systems as well.

I think this is either a duplicate of bug 92599, or a duplicate of bug 888039. Either way, it should be fixed by some changes I have proposed.

To test the fix and confirm this is a duplicate, please try using ppa:vanvugt/compiz (https://launchpad.net/~vanvugt/+archive/compiz).
