compiz.real crashed while changing desktop-effects settings

(all updates installed as of feb 17, 2007)

running aiglx on intel i845 graphics chipset. have compiz 1:0.3.6-1 installed. the crash occured while running desktop-settings and i just turned on DESKTOP EFFECTS and DESELECTED WINDOWS WOBBLE and WORKSPACE CUBE.
         but now everything works fine. still ... DOING THE SAME THING REPRODUCES THE CRASH EVERYTIME.
