Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

This can be reproduced using virtually any swing application for a few minutes using default JVM settings. It can be avoided by disabling OpenGL acceleration from Java, but in reality that's a lousy workaround that causes java applications to run much slower. I could offer more detail, but in reality I've hit this repeatedly since using Hardy 32-Bit and previous versions of Sun Java 6.
