Bug Description

Compiz, 12.04.

When using the spread (Super+W) to select a window the click event is actually passed to the window instead of just selecting it. This causes every kind of strange behavior on the selected application, since that click is currently handled by the selected application window and was clearly not meant by the user.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Confirmed in 12.04. Just spread (Super+W) your windows including one or more nautilus windows. When clicking on the spread nautilus window, that click event is often received by nautilus itself.

I can only get this to work in nautilus's sidebar. I have 'single click to open folders' enabled (the real man's option) and I can't get spread to open a folder.
