Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Whenever resizing the icons on the unity launcher (via ccsm). The appindicator icons (power, docky, caffiene, etc) become unresponsive to clicking (this is only after a reboot). The problem can be fixed via "compiz --replace" but that has to be executed on every login. This is really an annoyance especially on laptops.

I have the same problem. Executing "compiz --replace" helps - thanks for that hint. But it would be fineto have the indicators working without that command on every login.
