Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Compiz crashses when I enable the ATI driver. Adds black boxes to Unity and every window I open except the desktop.
It also messes up the Plymouth splash screen.

Deactivating the driver fixes the problem but it makes my laptop overheat and switch off in addition to the fully Compiz desktop effects not being activated.
