Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I've worked with the widget Layer with several widgets (screenlets, gdesklets, opera widgets) but on all the widget layer doesn't hide on click.

So I think this is clearly a compiz issue in natty.

Thanks!

This is very easy to reproduce,

just activate the compiz widget layer in CCM and activate the checkbox: "End widget Mode on click"

I think the easiest way to reproduce is with screenlets, since they are on the widget layer by default (without changing something in the "widget window" in the CCM).

No the widget layer should be ended by clicking somewhere but not any widget...that's not working.

Just to make clear the widget layer itself is working and all screenlets, gdesklets etc. are on the widget layer. But the layer itself doesn't end on click. On click nothing is happen but I can work with open windows just like the layer isn’t there.
The "grey" shade itself only disappear after a second click on F9.

Hope that helps.

You don't even need ay screenlets etc to reproduce, just activate the widget layer in ccm and check that under "Behaviour" "End Widget mode on Click" is checked. Now press F9 and there will bie a grey shade. Normally you should be able to exit by two ways, clicking somewhere or pressing F9. Since Natty only F9 is working.

Thanks for your help

same here in 12.04; doesn't exit on click, only on F9.
