Maximized windows stick out of cubes faces

Bug Description

A maximized Evolution window is wisible on the edges of adjanced windows. Similiarily, maximized gnome-terminal window casts shades on other sides.

Oh. I'm on Feisty, which is probably important, but I remember the same happening on Edgy and (AFAIR) Beryl.

This is due to Compiz using viewports rather than workspaces.

Yes, its related, but even using viewports it should be possible to correctly place/resize windows. Or am I mistaken?

Beryl had this issue fixed a long time ago... since 0.1.1 (current;y I'm using 0.1.3). I hope Feisty will ship with Beryl, as it's way ahead of Compiz at the moment.

I'm using Gutsy and it happens frequently. Some times the windows are opened this way and other times they get like this when I minimize and maximize it again.

I've tested with Metacity and Emerald and the problem happens the same way.
