Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I have upgraded from Maverick to Natty recently. I found that in some cases window content disappears leaving just a white area after enlarging window. Resizing window back returns normal content. This can appear on any window regardless of the application. I've observed this both running Unity and Classic Gnome DE. The problem tends to appear when there are more displayed windows.

xwininfo output for window displayed normally:

would like information by clicking the

To reproduce the problem
 * open several (5-10) windows. Windows must not be minimised.
 * resize active window or open extra windows.

I have Natty installed on my atom based netbook. I didn't have the same problem with it. My guess is that the problem could be triggered by NVidia driver.

hmmm this seems sorta like my problem but its mostly on a secondary screen and only happens when compiz is enabled which i have made a bug report( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/739103 ) so someone should help to check to see if its the same problem or two different ones with the same symptom
