Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Here is the exact scenario although I can't tell for sure if this is related to the crash.
I was trying to install todays (2011-02-26 09:21:48) i386 build. On the live system booted from a pen drive the launcher constantly jumped in and out. Like there would be a window triggering the Intellihide function but it almost flickered (moved in and out at a high rate).
I have fixed this by restarting Unity from the terminal using unity --restart. A few seconds after restarting Unity the crash happened.
