Bug Description
The text in any window title bar under Gnome becomes distorted. The text becomes choppy. With Firefox and Rhythmbox, when changing pages and changing media, the title bar will have the text from the previous media and page unless I use my mouse cursor to high-light the Close, Minimize, and Maximize/Reduce buttons and then the text turns over to the correct text.

Hello
can you please tell us wich ubuntu are you using (Lucid - Maverick - Natty) ? i386 0r amd64?
Are you running Compiz? - If yes can you try to disable it and start a session without special effect to see if this issue is reproducible in Metacity too?
Thanks
Fabio
