Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

0. Active Compiz using desktop effects (normal, extra or custom) in System->Preferences->Appearance.
1. Open aMSN.
2. aMSN should minimizes to tray when click on Close button on window title bar. Configure it accordingly to do so.
3. Click on Close button on window title bar.

Expected behavior: aMSN minimizes to tray and the window dissappears from windows list at bottom GNOME panel.

Actual behavior: aMSN minimizes to tray BUT the window still appears in the windows list at bottom GNOME panel. The bottom of the aMSN window stays displayed in the screen.

When you use Account->Minimize to tray, the problem can't be reproduced.

The problem can be only reproduced when Compiz is enabled.

When I click on Close button on aMSN window title bar, aMSN minimizes to tray, however:

- There's a "trace" of the window bottom.
- The window list applet still contains the aMSN window, even when the window isn't opened.

@kakaroto, could you look at this bug?

There is nothing to look at. This isn't an aMSN bug, this is quite clearly a window manager bug, and in this case, this is a Compiz bug. Please clone/reassign this bug to compiz. Note that comment #4 says that it happens sometimes with other applications too.
