Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Windows which are set to appear on every workspace become inaccessible after dragging them over the edge of a workspace. They exist and are visible in the workspace switcher, but there is (almost) no way to see or interact with them. This causes confusion.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any window.
2. Right-click on the title, choose "On every workspace".
3. Drag the window over the right edge of the screen.
4. Switch to every workspace and observe the result.
Expected results:
The window is still visible and can be interacted with. When switching workspaces, the window stays at the active one.
Actual results:
The window is not visible. When switching workspaces, the window doesn't appear at any of them, but in the workspace switcher applet it is always seen on the workspace to the right of the current one. The window can't be interacted with.
There is actually a workaround to bring the window back:
1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Tab several times to switch to the window.
2. Press Alt-Space and choose "move".
3. Use the keyboard to move the window back.
However, before I thought of the workaround, I had to close some apps (Pidgin) to get the windows back.
