Typing 'compiz' in terminal locks up system

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

1. Enable desktop effects.
2. Type 'compiz' in terminal.
3. All windows titlebars disappear and system stops responding.

Checked on Ubuntu 9.04 with proprietary nVidia drivers enabled.

I can confirm this bug. It even occurs on Intel cards since long. It even happened in 7.10
I thought it was fixed by now.

This bug has been fixed:

"cornwall@cornwall-desktop:~$ compiz
compiz (core) - Error: Screen 0 on display ":0" already has a window manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current window manager."
