gnome-terminal redraws poorly with NVidia 177.80

Bug Description

I having re-drawing problems on text in my gnome-terminal. According to the NVidia forums, the problem maybe related to a problem between the 177.xx driver and compiz. Compiz may need to be rebuilt to use XDamageReportNonEmpty rather than XDamageReportRawRectangles.

Saw that XDamageReportNonEmpty was added, but still get text corruption. If I turn compiz off and back on the problem goes away.
