Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz-core
The problem is with compiz and probably with also installed AWN manager (dock).
Version of packages:
Ubuntu 8.04
Compiz Core 0.7.4
Gnome 2.22.3
AWN 0.2.1
Steps to reproduce (happens from time to time, not 100%, assumes you have compiz and AWN laucnhed):
1) Open defferent windows on two workspaces
2) Open two similar windows on each workspaces. For example, I keep two Firefoxes on two workspaces.
3) Minimize 1-st Firefox, then switch to second workspace. Restore (if needed) 2-nd FF.
4) Go back to 1-st workspace, click the 1-st Firefox icon on AWN dock.
Luckily, compiz will crash and you'll be switched to 'No Effects' mode with metacity. You can also start compiz again with just switching back to 'Extra' in 'Effects'.
I'm not sure which package this bug belongs to. Probably it's something related to both AWN and Compiz. I don't think it's a Firefox issue, since I had the same effects with other windows.
