Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz
Ubuntu version: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)

When I set the Compiz Widget Layer's "Widget Window" matching rules to "name=gnome-panel", the gnome-panel still shows up as if it were not a widget and is not shown when other widgets are displayed.

This used to work for me in Hardy. (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5134861&postcount=11)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
