Bug Description
Sometimes after logging in no window decorations appear on the windows. It is then necessary to log out and log back in again to restore the system to working order. It is as though the window manager is not being loaded. The problem appears randomly.
I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron with all packages up to date.
This may be a duplicate of bug 244999, which has similar symptoms, except that the panel applets are not being loaded in that case.

Hi Bradford, thanks for your bug report and thanks for using Ubuntu! I noticed the line: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/home/ hovinen/ .compiz/ session/ default0" , in your log. I wonder if that might be the issue. Does that line appear when the problem doesn't occur? And either way, could you also upload your .xsession-errors when it doesn't occur? Thanks!
