Bug Description

Binary package hint: wesnoth

I have a 1680x1050 LCD monitor. If I try to start Wesnoth at this resolution in full-screen mode it still uses a window, sometimes offset from the screen edges/centre. If I switch to a lower resolution, 1024x768 and turn full-screen off and on again, it enters full-screen mode correctly and then I can change the resolution back to 1680x1050 and full-screen stays OK.

I'm using wesnoth 1:1.4-1 and libsdl1.2debian 1.2.13-1ubuntu1 in Hardy Heron amd64.

It seems OK if I use openbox instead of compiz as my window manager so it's probably actually a compiz bug.

Wesnoth/SDL isn't buggy only with compiz after all. Using openbox it switches into windowed mode on its own after a few minutes. Sometimes it spontaneously switches back to full screen after a few seconds.
