alt+tab flickers on nvidia 8400

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When I switch windows on an up to date Hardy, releasing alt+tab swithces to the target window correctly, but the previous window also flickers into view momentarily. This is extremely irritating, extremely with maximised windows.

A friend with an Nvidia 8500 card also sees this.
