Default window decoration

Bug Description

After upgrading from gutsy2heron (8.04 beta), with compiz and emerald already installed, the default window-decorator is set to the default compiz gtk-window-decorator

This is fine (although prehaps should be changed if the user has emerald set as their window decorator, however it seems that somehow during the upgrade process gconf/apps/gwd/use_metacity_theme is set to FALSE
This means that metacity window decoration themes will not work at all until this value is changed manually, even if metacity --replace is run.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. I wasn't sure if it quite fitted under compiz or not. I guess it is better to classify it as something rather than nothing?
Thanks for the link :)

After performing the changes mentioned above, the upgrade to Intrepid worked fine (just a separate compiz issue with ccsm already dealt with)
