windows are sometimes moved between screens

Binary package hint: compiz

Compiz sometimes move a window to another screen. I have the following setup: Evolution on viewport 1, screen 2 and Firefox on viewport 2, screen 1. When I in evolution click on a link the firefox window is moved to viewport 2, screen 2 (the same screen as Evolution). The expected behavious is just to let Firefox stay on its original viewport/screen.

this seems like a firefox configuration issue rather than compiz itself, could you please confirm trying to reproduce this issue without desktop effects activated.
if this is still reproducible for you without compiz, you can try to change the value of the "browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground" key to True in the "about:config" menu of firefox and see if fix this issue.
